Below are the most frequently asked questions about the ESP program. If your question is not answered below, please feel free to contact us.
Q: How long is the ESP program?
A: The ESP program is 10 weeks long. Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm to 9 pm. There are 20 sessions (60 hours) altogether.
Q: Do I have to attend all classes?
A: Each lesson builds on the other in order for you to get the most out of the class. Therefore, it is important to attend as many of the 20 sessions as possible. If you miss any of the sessions, they are recorded and an audio lesson is made available in the private area of this web site. You can listen to the recordings as often as you wish, at your leisure. On occasion, a recording may fail and no recording will be made available for that session. This is why it is always best to attend the class when possible.
Q: Will I get a grant after completing this program?
A: Typically, no. However, we make you aware of grant resources we are aware of at the time.
Q: Am I guaranteed funds to start my business at the end of the program?
A: There are no guarantees. However, we’ve designed this program to help you create a business plan that increases your chances of getting your loan approved if you are seeking funding. Students who complete the entire program will have a better chance at being approved than other individuals.
Q: Do I get a degree or CE credits with this course?
A: Although you get a certificate at the completion of the course, you do not get a degree or qualify for CE credits.
Q: What is the main purpose of the ESP Program?
A: The main purpose is to help you create a successful business plan in order to create a successful business. Whether you are starting a business, or need to grow your business, the ESP program will help you succeed. The business plan is completed whether you need funding or not. Your plan will help guide you to business success as long as you implement it correctly.
Q: I have a business partner, spouse, or relative that would like to attend. Is there a price break for them?
A: Although there is no price break for your business partner, spouse or relative, we encourage you to register each individually in order for all to learn the same business strategies. This way, everyone is on the same page as it pertains to growing a successful business.
Q: I am not seeking funding for my business. Do I still need to complete a business plan?
A: Yes. Although it is not mandatory for you to complete a business plan in this course, we highly encourage it because business owners that create a business plan, have a much higher success rate than those who do not.
Q: Will you run these classes in the daytime?
A: We do not have plans for daytime courses at this time. If you are interested, please let us know. If we see a high demand for day time classes, we will consider creating a schedule for one.
Q: Will this course be offered online?
A: This option is not available at the moment. However, you are welcome to register for the class, and listen to the recordings. You can email us any questions you have about the material, and you’ll also have access to the course resources. Be aware, however, that although rare, a class recording can be skipped due to technical issues beyond our control.
Q: Are the facilities where the classes are held handicap accessible?
Q: What does the tuition cover?
A: Tuition covers your classroom instructions, handouts, classroom material, a pen, recorded sessions, online private resource area, and all your business questioned answered by industry experts. All you need is willingness to learn and implement.
